Braking resistors are
used to increase the control torque of the inverter,
for frequently repeated ON-OFF cycles of the inverter,
or for decelerating a load with large inertia.
Notes
The use of braking resistors
with GS2 series AC drives requires no parameter setup.
The AC drive will automatically sense the presence
of a braking resistor.
